  @Tim: It looks like only the authentication mechanism for the scheduler and the wiki are unavailable; the websites themselves are up.
  
  I've seen "real" hosting providers go completely down as well: unless you have total and complete redundancy spread across a wide geographic area, you're never completely fail-proof.

  Of course. But if you are hosting a mission critical application at your office with a unstable internet connection, that sucks!

  Yes, we're in the process of moving the authentication system, which is what depends on the secondary database, to a different data centre.
