CFDJ relaunch

Recently Sys-con released news that CFDJ will be relaunched as Silverlight Developer's Journal.

We heard this first from Sean Corfield's recent entry on his blog over the past weekend.

CFDJ has been a sponsor of CFUnited for over 6 years. We have confidence that the ColdFusion community is as strong as ever and we support the drive for knowledge and information.

Liz, Fusion Authority has been battling against CFDJ in that we focus on quality articles written by some of the top people in the industry. Our articles are longer than most because it's the quality of the topic not just filling space that we are interested in. Judith and Michael care deeply about ColdFusion and it shows in the magazine. We are very excited about the direction FAQU is going and encourage writers who also care about the future of ColdFusion to write.

Why do I care? I am the creative force behind the magazine and put it together every 3 months. Our newest issue just went to print, so folks looking for an alternative won't have long to wait for fresh content. https://secure.houseoffusion.com/vol2issue1.cfm

How Sys-Con have the nerve to claim that replacing a cross-platform, multi-vendor, server technology magazine with a single-vendor client technology magazine is any sort of "relaunch" is totally beyond me...
