"We look forward to seeing you in June!
Below is everything you need to prepare for your trip to CFUnited 2008!" -Liz Frederick
Registration and Check-in for Materials
You've registered for the conference by now and you are getting ready to make the big trip to DC for a week of excellent learning, networking, and fun. This year there is nothing arriving via snail mail, just show up at the conference with a photo ID and we will check you in at the registration booth located on Concourse B.

When you arrive at the Convention Center, you will either enter through the front entrance located on Mt. Vernon Pl between 9th and 7th Street or the Metro Center Station Entrance. Staff and Security will be able to assist you to the location of our check-in booth. See map and directions from Grand Hyatt to the Convention Center

BUILDING MAP - Ground level is where sessions will be held and below that is the registration area. Hall B is underground and will house the General Sessions, Expo Showroom, and Cafeteria (Breakfast and Lunch).

NAME BADGE - Immediately find your way to the Registration/Check-in booth to obtain your badge, goodies, and materials. This is important because security personnel at the Convention Center requires that anyone in the building must have a name badge hung around the neck with a lanyard. Make sure when you wander around the building that your name is facing front. You will also receive your map/schedule insert and expo passport. Don't forget to visit our ribbon booth. Sponsors will be able to scan your badges with a lead retrieval unit. Please allow sponsors to do this as you pass their booth, this gives them a chance to follow up with you on the latest information about their company and new releases of their products. Don't forget the free gifts and raffles some sponsors are displaying at their booths!

MATERIALS - This year CFUnited has gone green, so no more big bulky show guides. Instead you will get a reasonably sized spiral bound notebook with note paper, schedule, topic descriptions, information about our sponsors, and maps. You will also receive an Urban Sling bag made of 100% recycled materials. The t-shirt has a new look too. Don't forget to search through your bags for other cool stuff like water bottles, buttons, and more.

TIMES FOR CHECK-IN - Your best bet is to arrive on Tuesday June 17th and make a stop at the convention center to the registration/check-in booth. Grab your stuff and relax. You will have avoided the rush in the morning before the keynote.
Registration is open from 2pm - 8pm on Tuesday, June 17th. Then re-opens on Wednesday, June 18th at 7am.

Scheduler

Please decide your schedule ahead of time by using our Scheduler Application. This is mandatory for pre-registration. If you decide during the event that you would like to see another topic, feel free to make that decision. We expect attendees to fill out their Scheduler so that we may determine the correct room to place each session into based on the number of seats. Thank you for your cooperation.
