Katablog.com's Gravatar How can we register when we don't even know yet what the topics are?

charlie griefer's Gravatar @Kata - there are people who have attended CFUnited since before it was called CFUnited. they have a pretty good idea of what the conference will hold, even without seeing the lineup of current topics/speakers.

there are also those who go for the networking/marketing aspect just as much as the sessions.

Liz Frederick's Gravatar thanks charlie.

Please also remember you can still suggest a topic at http://callforspeakers.cfconf.org/

Everyone in the community will able to vote December 1st-19th. So you will get a general idea of the kinds of topics that will be accepted.

Good luck in deciding. I hope you come to CFUnited in August!

Clark Valberg's Gravatar I have to say from the looks of it this promises to be the best CFUNITED venue yet. I think the somewhat sequestered feel of a resort will accentuate what many consider the most important part of a conference like this - the social interaction.

Larry C. Lyons's Gravatar Actually you're not as sequestered as you may think. Leesburg is right on the edge of DC and has some good bars and clubs. It also has a lovely old town section with some unique shops etc. just outside of Leesburg itself, there are quite a few local wineries etc., that are very good as well.

regards,
larry
