Gert Franz was born long time ago and lives in Switzerland since 1998, somewhere next to Zurich. He's CEO of Railo Technologies and accompanied the development from when it started back in 2001. Gert used to work as a system engineer and database administrator, where some of his favorite web projects were www.zinodavidoff.com and www.rtl.de. Gert is addicted to problem solving, performance and database tuning (especially SQL Server). Gert is a father of three and boyfriend of one.
