Sandi Schleicher (iGive.com)
In June of 2009 I accepted the position of Chief Technology Officer of iGive.com. iGive.com is a private for-profit company which helps charities raise funds through their members' online purchases.
Prior to joining iGive.com, I was appointed Director of Engineering of Onebox Solutions, when J2 Global Communications purchased Call Sciences in 2004, and created a new J2 subsidiary called Onebox. At that time, I was the Director of Research and Development of Call Sciences which I joined in early 2001, when Call Sciences purchased Vocal Link, a company I co-founded in 1997. Vocal Link was a 'next generation' messaging company, and provided an innovative technology base for Call Sciences products and services. Prior to Vocal Link, I worked at Quantra Corporation (which had been named Melson Technologies when I joined and was named The SOFTA Group prior to that). Quantra was a software development company specializing in Property Management Software. I joined Quantra in 1994 after having worked at Baxter Healthcare Inc for three years in the Distribution division where I specialized in Next Generation tools for use in warehouses. I joined Baxter after having worked for approximately one year at Price Waterhouse where I was part of the Management Information Systems (MIS) group. I joined Price Waterhouse after completing my Engineering Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana in four years.
